What Our Customers Have to Say
A Plunge Pool Designed Around Your Space
Every property and family is different. We take the time at the design stage to understand how you want to use your plunge pool and how the surrounding space should function as part of your overall backyard plan.
Bayto precast concrete pools are available in three compact sizes, 8′ x 16′, 8′ x 18′, and 8′ x 20′, making them a great fit for Ottawa homeowners who want a premium pool without giving up too much of their outdoor living space.
Your plunge pool can be designed as:
- A private place to relax and cool off
- A stylish feature for entertaining and summer enjoyment
- A clean, modern focal point with built-in steps and a compact footprint
Where helpful, we can work from concept sketches and 2D or 3D visuals so you can clearly see the pool placement, patio layout, circulation, planting zones, and privacy elements before construction begins.
Premium Features & Finishing Options
A plunge pool should feel like a natural part of the backyard, not a standalone add-on. We can design the surrounding space as a cohesive outdoor retreat and integrate features such as interlock or concrete patio surfaces, steps, seating areas, landscape lighting, privacy elements, and fencing around the pool area.
We can also incorporate surrounding design features that enhance the overall setting, including feature walls, fountains, spillways, and other focal points that help give the space a more custom, finished feel.
Bayto pools also come equipped with key essentials such as a variable-speed pump, cartridge filtration, LED lighting, and a salt system. The interior finish is completed with a reinforced membrane selected by the homeowner.
Built For Ottawa’s Climate
Ottawa winters are tough on outdoor structures. Freeze and thaw cycles, heavy snow, and wide temperature swings all need to be considered when planning a pool installation. That is why proper design, site preparation, drainage, and winterization all matter.
Bayto plunge pools are built with durable precast concrete shells and reinforced membrane interiors designed for long-term performance and watertightness. When installed correctly and winterized properly, they are well suited for Ottawa’s climate and the demands that come with it.
Key climate-related considerations include proper excavation, base preparation, drainage planning, equipment placement, and finishes that can handle seasonal conditions and ongoing water chemistry demands. These details help protect the pool and support long-term performance.
K. Joly can also connect you with trusted partners for seasonal opening and closing services, so your plunge pool is properly shut down before winter and ready to enjoy again in the spring.
Residential & Commercial Plunge Pools
Our plunge pool services are available for both residential and commercial projects.
For homeowners, a plunge pool can create a private place to relax, cool off, entertain, and add lasting value to the backyard. Its compact size also makes it a strong option for properties where space is limited but the goal is still to create a premium outdoor retreat.
For commercial or multi-residential properties, plunge pools can be a practical fit for boutique developments, condo projects, and hospitality spaces that want a modern pool feature without the footprint of a full-sized pool.
In every case, we tailor our approach to the scale, design goals, and technical requirements of the project.
Why Choose a Plunge Pool?
Plunge pools are a premium option for homeowners who want the enjoyment and visual impact of a pool in a more compact, space-efficient design. They are ideal for relaxing, cooling off, entertaining, and creating a backyard focal point without taking over the entire yard.
Bayto plunge pools offer those benefits in a monolithic precast concrete structure designed for efficient installation and flexible placement. Available in three modern rectangular sizes, 8′ x 16′, 8′ x 18′, and 8′ x 20′, they can be installed in-ground, semi-recessed, or above-ground, depending on your property and design goals.
Homeowners often choose a plunge pool because it offers:
- A compact footprint that works well in smaller backyards
- A premium precast concrete structure with a streamlined installation process
- A clean, modern look that pairs beautifully with patios, planting, and lighting

Precast Concrete Plunge Pools From Bayto
K. Joly Contracting is an authorized dealer of Bayto Pools, a Canadian manufacturer of precast concrete pools, including compact models that work well as plunge pools.
Bayto plunge pools are built with a solid precast concrete shell for long-term strength and durability. Each pool is finished with a reinforced PVC membrane interior that is waterproof, attractive, and designed for mechanical resistance.
Because the pools are manufactured in a controlled environment and delivered ready for installation, the process is more streamlined than traditional cast-in-place concrete construction. Depending on the site and design plan, Bayto plunge pools can be installed fully inground, semi-inground, or partially above grade.
