Trustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. Kevin (owner) was great to chat with, and he delivered exactly what we discussed and agreed on. He had a great crew that was super friendly and respectful of my neighbours. I was also impressed that they were working in the snow when they installed the first option of the fence.

Trustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. Kevin and his team offered excellent after purchase support. Our fence was damaged by snow falling off the roof. After assessing the situation, the fence was repaired faster than I could notice. Emailed to schedule the repair only to find out, it had previously been repaired to its original state. Amazing job team!

Trustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. I couldn’t be happier with the work Kevin, Dany, and their entire team did at my house. Kevin was wonderful to deal with, and Dany and his team did an excellent job! From start to finish, they were absolutely fantastic. The quality of their work is excellent, and they truly went above and beyond to make sure everything was done properly and to a very high standard. They definitely exceeded my expectations. What impressed me just as much as the quality of the work was how friendly, professional, respectful, and reliable the entire team was. Everyone was a pleasure to deal with, and I felt completely comfortable having them work on my home. It is clear that Kevin cares about his customers. I highly recommend K. Joly to anyone looking for excellent workmanship and a team you can trust. I would absolutely hire them again for future projects!

Trustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. Kevin and his crew did an amazing job. My fence looks amazing. A solid job that I know will last for years to come. From the first meeting with Kevin to the last board that was put in place, everything was professional. The job site cleaned up and left better than it was found by his great crew.

Trustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. This is a long overdue review I should have done about a month ago as soon a my project was finished. I have no words to describe the level of excellence I experienced dealing with K. Joly. Since we started to entertain the idea last fall and we engaged them, Marinna was amazing, knowledgeable, professional and caring to the point of advising us against some potential upgrades we wanted to donin the front porch as they would compromise the concrete slab in the long run despite being this a slight decrease in the project scope. All the admin was incredibly smooth, all our questions where answered very professionally and patiently by Kevin and Marinna. When the time finally came we got the absolute cherry of the pie, our permanently dedicated crew composed by Anton and Jorge, with some help from a machinery operator a few days and another folk on one day but Anton and Jorge set the bar to a level I doubt some one can ever surpass it. Incredibly professional, polite, considerate of the impact in the surroundings, sooooooo attentive to details, didn't rush once but kept moving all the time working long days. Always so receptive to our feedback and always discussed all options to reach the best solution with our satisfaction in mind. This is absolute value we received, we could not be happier about how every dollar invested in this project translated into premium quality workmanship and materials providing a very much needed upgrade for our property. Looking at how deep they dug and how much substrate was dumped and how it was carefully and methodically packed, and then the top layer, I highly doubt I will ever need to use their unbeatable warranty. We had our driveway paved as well with a subcontractor that did a good job, but after dealing with Kevin, Anton, Jorge and Marinna, all I have to say to them is get in the paving business as well! If you keep those standards and specially the kind of employees I dealt with, you'll be absolutely unbeatable!

Trustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. We had our entire fence and landscaping redone, and we couldn’t be happier with the results. The team was professional, reliable, and clearly took pride in their work from start to finish. The fence looks solid and well-built, and the landscaping completely changed the look of the property. They showed up when they said they would, kept the job site organized, and paid attention to the little details that really made the final result stand out. It’s rare to find a company that delivers exactly what they promise, but they absolutely did. Highly recommend them to anyone looking for quality fence work, landscaping, and a crew that actually cares about the finished product.

Trustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. We had 6 posts of our fence come down in a storm and were in a tough position as our dog needs the back yard. I reached out to KJoly Contracting and was quickly provided a fair quote that beat the other 2 that I had gotten from competitors. The crew arrived on time and completed the work efficiently while being very cautious not to damage my property. I was impressed that they did not try and upsell me or add hidden fees. The cost was exactly what I was quoted. Quality work, a very fair price and great communication. Highly recommend.

Pools Built For Luxury & Longevity

Bayto precast concrete pools are a premium option for homeowners who want the strength and feel of concrete without the long timelines of traditional builds. Each pool is a monolithic precast concrete shell designed for fast, reliable installation.

Bayto pools are available in three modern rectangular sizes (8′ × 16′, 8′ × 18′, 8′ × 20′) and can be installed fully in-ground, semi-recessed, or above-ground—making them a great fit for Ottawa properties where you want a high-end pool and still keep space for patios, gardens, and entertaining.

Pool Landscaping by K. Joly Contracting Ottawa

Premium Features & Options

To complete your backyard, we can integrate features and upgrades such as:

Pool-area lighting and low-voltage landscape lighting
Safety or automatic covers to improve safety, extend the season, and reduce maintenance
Surrounding patios/decks (interlock or concrete), steps, and seating areas
Privacy solutions and pool-compliant fencing/gates
Automation and efficiency upgrades (as available)

Bayto pools also come equipped with core essentials like a variable-speed pump, cartridge filtration, LED lighting, and a salt system, and the interior finish is a durable reinforced membrane selected by the homeowner.

Built For Ottawa’s Climate

Ottawa winters are real. Prolonged freeze and thaw cycles, heavy snow and wide temperature swings create significant stress on outdoor structures. Concrete and precast concrete pools, when designed and installed properly, handle this environment well.

Key climate related design choices include:

Proper excavation depth below frost levels.
Engineered backfill and drainage to manage hydrostatic pressure.
Equipment installed where it can be winterized correctly.
Interior finishes that tolerate temperature variation and water chemistry.

Bayto’s precast concrete shells and reinforced membrane interiors are engineered specifically for durability and watertightness, which helps protect against damage from movement and freeze related stress when pools are properly winterized.

K. Joly can also connect you with trusted partners for seasonal opening and closing services so the pool is safely shut down before freeze and brought back online in the spring.

Pool Landscaping Design Plan by K. Joly Contracting Ottawa

Residential & Commercial Pools

While most projects involve single family homes, the same design build approach scales to:

Multi unit residential developments that require a shared pool area with durable finishes
Boutique hotels, inns and resorts that want a distinctive outdoor feature to attract guests
Commercial or institutional facilities that need robust, low maintenance pools with strong safety and enclosure design

These projects involve additional coordination with architects, engineers and property managers. K. Joly’s construction background and relationships with trades are well suited to this kind of work.

More Than Just A Pool

Many Ottawa pool buyers want to complete the entire backyard in one shot rather than managing separate contractors. K. Joly Contracting’s background in landscaping, interlock and fencing allows us to treat the pool as one piece of a cohesive outdoor living plan.

Typical elements often included with inground pool installation projects:

Poolside patios and walkways
Spacious decks for lounging, dining, grilling, and comfortable movement around the pool
Retaining walls and grading solutions for sloped or uneven yards
Privacy features such as fencing, panels, and strategic landscaping
Outdoor lighting to improve safety, usability, and evening atmosphere

Planning the pool and landscape together helps avoid drainage problems, awkward level changes and costly rework later.
