Trustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. Kevin (owner) was great to chat with, and he delivered exactly what we discussed and agreed on. He had a great crew that was super friendly and respectful of my neighbours. I was also impressed that they were working in the snow when they installed the first option of the fence.

Trustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. Kevin and his team offered excellent after purchase support. Our fence was damaged by snow falling off the roof. After assessing the situation, the fence was repaired faster than I could notice. Emailed to schedule the repair only to find out, it had previously been repaired to its original state. Amazing job team!

Trustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. I couldn’t be happier with the work Kevin, Dany, and their entire team did at my house. Kevin was wonderful to deal with, and Dany and his team did an excellent job! From start to finish, they were absolutely fantastic. The quality of their work is excellent, and they truly went above and beyond to make sure everything was done properly and to a very high standard. They definitely exceeded my expectations. What impressed me just as much as the quality of the work was how friendly, professional, respectful, and reliable the entire team was. Everyone was a pleasure to deal with, and I felt completely comfortable having them work on my home. It is clear that Kevin cares about his customers. I highly recommend K. Joly to anyone looking for excellent workmanship and a team you can trust. I would absolutely hire them again for future projects!

Trustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. Kevin and his crew did an amazing job. My fence looks amazing. A solid job that I know will last for years to come. From the first meeting with Kevin to the last board that was put in place, everything was professional. The job site cleaned up and left better than it was found by his great crew.

Trustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. This is a long overdue review I should have done about a month ago as soon a my project was finished. I have no words to describe the level of excellence I experienced dealing with K. Joly. Since we started to entertain the idea last fall and we engaged them, Marinna was amazing, knowledgeable, professional and caring to the point of advising us against some potential upgrades we wanted to donin the front porch as they would compromise the concrete slab in the long run despite being this a slight decrease in the project scope. All the admin was incredibly smooth, all our questions where answered very professionally and patiently by Kevin and Marinna. When the time finally came we got the absolute cherry of the pie, our permanently dedicated crew composed by Anton and Jorge, with some help from a machinery operator a few days and another folk on one day but Anton and Jorge set the bar to a level I doubt some one can ever surpass it. Incredibly professional, polite, considerate of the impact in the surroundings, sooooooo attentive to details, didn't rush once but kept moving all the time working long days. Always so receptive to our feedback and always discussed all options to reach the best solution with our satisfaction in mind. This is absolute value we received, we could not be happier about how every dollar invested in this project translated into premium quality workmanship and materials providing a very much needed upgrade for our property. Looking at how deep they dug and how much substrate was dumped and how it was carefully and methodically packed, and then the top layer, I highly doubt I will ever need to use their unbeatable warranty. We had our driveway paved as well with a subcontractor that did a good job, but after dealing with Kevin, Anton, Jorge and Marinna, all I have to say to them is get in the paving business as well! If you keep those standards and specially the kind of employees I dealt with, you'll be absolutely unbeatable!

Trustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. We had our entire fence and landscaping redone, and we couldn’t be happier with the results. The team was professional, reliable, and clearly took pride in their work from start to finish. The fence looks solid and well-built, and the landscaping completely changed the look of the property. They showed up when they said they would, kept the job site organized, and paid attention to the little details that really made the final result stand out. It’s rare to find a company that delivers exactly what they promise, but they absolutely did. Highly recommend them to anyone looking for quality fence work, landscaping, and a crew that actually cares about the finished product.

Trustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. We had 6 posts of our fence come down in a storm and were in a tough position as our dog needs the back yard. I reached out to KJoly Contracting and was quickly provided a fair quote that beat the other 2 that I had gotten from competitors. The crew arrived on time and completed the work efficiently while being very cautious not to damage my property. I was impressed that they did not try and upsell me or add hidden fees. The cost was exactly what I was quoted. Quality work, a very fair price and great communication. Highly recommend.

Benefits of Composite Fences

Composite Fence by K. Joly Contracting Ottawa

Low Maintenance

Composite fencing is made for homeowners who’d rather enjoy their yard than maintain it. Many composite systems never need painting or staining—just an occasional rinse to keep things looking fresh.

Built to Withstand Ottawa Weather

Composite fencing is designed to stay stable through temperature swings and moisture, helping reduce common wood issues like warping, splitting, and splintering—especially important in Ottawa’s winter/spring cycles.

Long-Lasting Curb Appeal

Many composite products use protective outer layers that help resist moisture, mold/mildew, and colour fading, so your fence keeps its “new” look longer than many traditional options.

True Privacy (and a Clean Look on Both Sides)

If privacy is the priority, composite is a great fit. Some systems use interlocking pickets/panels designed to stay fully private while looking the same on both sides—ideal for shared property lines.

Safer for Families and Pets

Because many composite boards are engineered not to splinter like wood, they can be a more comfortable choice around play areas, patios, and pool zones where people brush up against the fence.

Design Flexibility

Composite fencing can deliver a modern, upscale look in a range of colours and profiles—often achieving the warmth of wood with a more consistent finish.

Sustainability

Many composite fencing materials are made using a blend of recycled plastic and recycled wood fibres—an appealing option if sustainability is part of your decision.

Strong Long-Term Value

Composite fencing is typically a premium upfront investment, but the long lifespan and reduced maintenance can make it a smart long-term value—often supported by multi-year warranties.

The Process

We try to provide potential customers with a cost as early in the shopping process as possible. Many of our customers say what differentiates us from other Ottawa fence companies is our excellent customer service.

Speak to your neighbours to determine who will be sharing the cost of the fence.
Determine if they want to pay us directly or pay you for their share.
Confirm the type of material to be used, the height and the style of fence.
Measure the length of fencing required. If possible, break it down by sides. Include details about gates for each segment.
Contact us using the Request My Free Estimate form with the information above. We will reply with a price guideline before we meet in person.
Schedule an in-person consultation with us, and any neighbour who will be paying us directly, to discuss the specifics of your project, help confirm material that will be used, and verify the measurements.
Following the consultation, we’ll prepare a formal contract for your signature. It will include a detailed cost breakdown.
Review your written estimate and call us to book the job into our installation schedule.
